This place is horrible on answering their phone. Every time I have called it goes straight to Voicemail after a few rings. I have called at different times through out the day and same thing. Have to wonder how their business practices are.
Wondering if I can switch to different office did approval on online yesterday morning have not heard or gotten a call back from this office they gave me. Normally these copies are beating down the doors to get people a loan to make money!!!
Applied for a loan on Monday. Initially approved for $12,000 unsecured or $15,000 secured, but I needed to go into branch office. They asked me my net, but I typed my gross. When I got to the office the lady debated me on my net. I have several large bills paid out of my check each month, but she would not let me include that in my net. She claimed only the money that is directly deposited can be counted. I told her I also get a large bonus each year, but did not have documents at the moment. She told me I could not claim that either. This reduced my actual net by about 50%. They called me two days later and left me voicemail to return their call. I called at least 8 times today. I kept getting a message that said branch 4341 is not accepting calls now and the mail box was full. I finally got through and the guy said they only have 3 lines open at a time. He reviewed my request and stated I do not qualify for the original offer because my net was much less than I entered when I applied. Go figure. They did offer to pay off my 2014 Focus at a very high interest rate. I have a loan through Ford Credit at 2.5 %. Why on earth would I do that. I logged into Upstart and applied. They gave me $15,000 at 13%. The process took about 15 minutes. Stay away from One Main Financial especially this branch. The underwriter at this office makes you wonder what the qualifications for working at this company are.
Make sure you ask them to define their policies thoroughly because they will shrug their shoulders about the overview you may get from them or their colleagues. Won't personally be returning to this branch.
